Celebration of Form - recent sculptural pieces by the late Gillian Broinowski.

Works by the late Gillian Broinowski 1934 – 2008 directly from the artist’s studio will be on display and for sale during the exhibition.
After many years of making functional ceramics as “a way of life”, several trips to Japan deeply influenced the artist; and a new direction with emphasis on a sense of play and form changed the character of her previous work. Using stoneware slabs the artist continued to explore the considerations of functionality, perspective and texture and sought to make sculptural expressions about pots.
