Bloody Clay!

Four women showcase the results of their challenging, humorous and ultimately satisfying journey with the demanding medium of clay, in four very different approaches. Heather Fisher’s art achieves a grace and beauty in her finely hand-built earthenware pieces. Mary-Ann bravely entwines herself with the wheel to emerge triumphant with the form of the bottle. Biljana overcomes years of technical frustrations with finely pinched porcelain to relate stories from her deep subconscious. Janet shares the challenge of transforming the ethereal energy of nature into the hard mass of ceramic landscapes.

Artists: Heather Fisher, Mary-Ann Nidelkos, Biljana Novakovic, Janet Selby
