Venues

The main conference venue will be National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney, however some events will be hosted and held at the Sydney College of the Arts (Rozelle Campus) and the College of Fine Arts (Paddington).

 

Exhibitions will be held throughout Sydney and regional New South Wales.

Music Venues in Sydney
- Will & Tobys 134 Oxford St, Darlinghurst studded leather lounges and hip-ish crowd – stumbling distance from the main conference venues

- Sahnia 106 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach. Live music Thursday-  funkiest bar for new music in Sydney.  

- Vanguard  42 King St Newtown – the best small contemporary live music venue in Sydney – a big jazz influence

- The Basement  1 Angel Pl  Circular Quay – famous for mainstream jazz

- Marble Bar -  in the Hilton Hotel basement at 488 George St – music most nights – live on thurs fri sat

- Piano Room  above the Coke sign, Macleay St Kings Cross – trying to be the coolest bar this week

- Café  Low  302 Crown St Darlinghurst -  live music wed thurs fri- probably the coolest bar this week

- Oxford Art Factory  38 Oxford St Darlinghurst -  young, rock, hip hop and grunge

- The Bridge  Victoria Rd Rozelle/Balmain - one of Sydney’s surviving sticky carpet pubs every Sunday afternoon  for old style rock and roll
